I learned how to quickly find Powerpoints through a new search engine. This will save me a lot of time and it allows me to edit, so each powerpoint fits the needs of my class.
This class is the bomb! I am learning so much that I can use in my class.My four-year olds and I are going to "rock" in the fall with all kinds of learning games.
My biggest "aha" moment has been the energy level of this course...the discussion about Essential Questions, Rubrics. It is not the sterotypical "geek class".
I attended a "Success for All" conference about ten years ago and was exposed to many of the ideas we have been discussing about essential questions, differentiated assesment, problem-solving skills, use of rubrics and teaching students to be responsible for their own learning. Soon after the conference, the technology boom began. It is really exciting to see all of this coming together. I am grateful to know that my grandchildren will be the recipients of the new understanding in education. Linda

Where has this course been? I have been enlightened and I feel that my methods of teaching and reaching students has been enhanced 100 fold.

Use of technology with students means I can talk less and learn to listen in new ways
I was excited to find out about the availability of the videos.
